REFLECTIONS
these aren't lessons. they're simply moments from my own life. some happened on the other side of the world. some happened in everyday conversations. some completely changed the way i saw myself. others changed the way i saw someone else.
i'm sharing them because i know one story can sometimes do what advice never can.
it can help us see ourselves differently.
and sometimes...
that's where everything begins.

the invitation i still can't quite believe
my mentor had already facilitated more than twenty couples retreats when she turned to me and asked if i'd be interested in co-facilitating alongside her. i had no idea that one quiet invitation would shape the next seven years of my life.
why i rarely remember the tourist attractions
at 17, while everyone else was heading off to the tourist attractions, i'd ask them to take my camera so i could wander off into a village instead.
i rarely remember the tourist attractions. i remember the family who taught me to make coconut oil, the children who gave me a broken little purse with enormous pride, and the conversations that changed the way i see the world.
looking back, i realise i've always travelled exactly the same way.
you’re not overthinking… your mind is just full
