you’re not overthinking… your mind is just full
you know that feeling where you finally sit down…
and your mind doesn’t?
it keeps going.
replaying conversations.
planning tomorrow.
holding onto things you thought you’d already dealt with.
and you start thinking,
“why can’t i just switch off?”
but here’s what most women don’t realise…
you’re not broken.
and you’re not doing anything wrong.
your mind is just full.
for so many women i work with, this becomes their normal.
they’re capable. they’re functioning. they’re holding everything together.
but internally… there’s no real pause.
and over time, that starts to feel like:
exhaustion that sleep doesn’t fix
overthinking every small decision
constantly “on” even when nothing is happening
a sense that you should be able to handle it better
but this isn’t a mindset problem.
it’s a space problem.
your mind hasn’t had enough moments where it’s allowed to slow down long enough to reset itself.
not escape.
not distraction.
just space.
and when that space is created — even in small, intentional ways — something shifts quite quickly.
decisions feel lighter.
your thoughts don’t feel as loud.
you stop reacting to everything in real time.
you don’t become a different person.
you just come back to yourself.
this is often where my work begins with women — not adding more tools, but creating space to actually hear themselves again.
sometimes that happens in a conversation.
sometimes it happens in a reset.
sometimes it happens in a completely different environment, like travel, where life naturally slows you down.
but it always starts the same way…
you noticing that how you’ve been doing things doesn’t have to be the only way.
if this is something you’ve been feeling, trust that awareness.
there’s nothing to fix here.
just something ready to shift.
if you want to explore what that could look like for you, you’re welcome to connect and start there.
